Etango Ranch Guestfarm is run by 2 generations of the Grellmann family, with the help of trained, friendly and competent staff. Because of previous 'Safari' activities, we have more than 30 years experience in the tourism industry. We are especially proud of our dedicated and personal service to our visitors, providing information on where to go, what to do and not to do, information on this beautiful country and its diversity of people in fact doing anything to make our guests' stay in Namibia more relaxed and enjoyable.
A herd of roughly 250 free roaming head of SIMBRA Cattle can be seen occasionally when traversing the farm. Occasionally also a herd of roughly 200 Damara sheep, attended by a shepherd and an Anatolian Shepherd Dog roam around. At the Farmhouse a variety of geese, ducks, chickens and pigeons can be seen at close range and these are a favourite with children and animal lovers, especially at feeding time. There are almost always some bottle-fed calves, sheep or hand raised ostriches for children to pet. |
